3rd Annual Stuart Seafood Festival Features CornHole Tournament

The much-anticipated Stuart Seafood Festival, which returns to Memorial Park in its third year this November, has paired with South Florida Cornhole to host a $1000 Cornhole Tournament.

The tournament will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. Entrance is $50 per team, and each team will play a few warm-up games to be seeded into either an advanced or novice bracket. The tournament will be a double-elimination format, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

Winners in the advanced bracket will receive $400 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place and $100 for 3rd place. The novice bracket will payout $120 for 1st place, $80 for 2nd place and $50 for 3rd place. Plus, all players will compete for the chance to win additional prizes.

The tournament is limited to 32 teams, and teams can register online at StuartSeafoodFestival.com/cornhole or SouthFloridaCornhole.com/SSF2015. Online entrants will also be entered in a chance to win 2 VIP tickets the day of the tournament.

The third annual Stuart Seafood Festival takes place Nov. 21 and 22 and promises fresh seafood, live music, family rides, entertainment, nautical vendors and more. Admission is just $5 in advance and $7 at the gate, and proceeds will benefit the Rivers Coalition.

Advance tickets are available at Grand Slam Tackle in Jupiter, Juno Shoe Girl in Hobe Sound, Kids Need More Art in Stuart, Fresh Catch Seafood Grill in Stuart, the Hutchinson Island Marriott, Charlie’s Bar & Grill in Stuart, The Taco Shack and Fidelity Lending at 506 SW Federal Highway, Suite 101 in Stuart.

The two-day festival features musical acts Greg Hansen, Jennell Eve & Random Play, The String Assassins, Casey Raines Band, Tom Jackson Band, Moska Project and Fresh Catch.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to relax on the green and enjoy the live music and entertainment.

Several restaurants will be serving up fresh seafood, including Fresh Catch, The Deck, Charlies, Ian’s Tropical Grill and The Chive.

The Stuart Seafood Festival takes place from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21 and 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22. Kids 12 and under are free, and free parking is available at designated lots downtown.
