Martin County is always in development mode, especially with popular towns such as Stuart, Jensen Beach, and Palm City within its borders, From residential homes to commercial buildings, there are plenty of new development applications coming into the Martin County office on a continual basis that must be reviewed and then approved or denied. Here are ten approved developments coming soon to Martin County.
Boat Storage Building Modifications (A059-010 Four Fish Administrative Amendment)
The approved plan will modify an existing boat storage building located at 2225 NE Indian River Drive in Jensen Beach. In addition to expanding the current building from 42,500 square feet to 44,400 square feet, the company requesting the modifications will restore the existing dock with its 22 wet slips.
72 Multi-Family Residential Units (Banyan Bay Pud Phase 3 Revised Master Final Site Plan)
Banyan Bay in Stuart will get 72 new multi-family residential units under this development approval. The units will be built on a 12-acre piece of undeveloped land on the western side of SW Kanner Highway.
Car Wash (Caliber Car Wash Hobe Sound Minor Final Site Plan)
Hobe Sound will soon have a new car wash with the approval of this plan for Caliber Car Wash. The car wash is going to be built on 1.41 acres of land at 11525 SE Federal Highway.
Restaurant Expansion (Conchy Joe’s Restaurant Revised Minor Final Site Plan)

Conchy Joe’s Restaurant in Jensen Beach will be getting an addition when the owners add on the 2.3-acre parcel from the former Admiral’s Table located adjacent to their property and create a single restaurant campus.
20 Dwelling Units (Cottages at Coconut Cay (fka Summerland Place) Minor Final Site Plan)
Twenty additional dwelling units will be available in Stuart when the new residences are built on two acres, ten units per acre. The units will be in an area southwest of SE Federal Highway and to the west side of SE Morningside Drive.
Addition of Two Single Family Lots (Cove Royale Revised Pud Zoning and Master Site Plan)
Two single family lots are going to be added to the Cove Royale development in Stuart, specifically the south side of SE Cove Road and east of SW Kanner Highway.
Filling of a 51-Acre Lake (Creative Land Management Development)
The county approved the filling of a 51-acre lake, located 1.5 miles south of I-95/SW Martin Highway along the west side of I-95. The lake filling plan will occur in three phases and is located on a land area of 121.92 acres.
Earthwork and Excavation for the Addition of 317 Residential Units (Discovery Pud Phase 1b Final Site Plan)
Zeus Park in Hobe Sound, Florida
In preparation for adding 317 residential units to the land at the former Hobe Sound Polo Club, the companies responsible for the Discovery project requested approval for site excavation and earthwork. The county approved this phase and the building plan for this residential community can move forward.
Addition of a Two-Story Mixed Use Building and a One-Story Commercial Building (Dunworth Mixed-Use Minor Final Site Plan Application)
A two-story mixed-use building and a one-story commercial building are coming to Hobe Sound. The 0.7-acre undeveloped piece of land located south of SE Saturn Street and on the west side of Dixie Highway will soon have a new residential/commercial building and a separate commercial building. The one building will have office space on the first floor and two residential units on the second floor, and the second building will be a one-story commercial use structure.
Wholesale Trades and Services Warehouse Building (Flora Warehouse Minor Final Site Plan)
A new wholesale trades and services warehouse is going to be added to the property at 3730 SW 30th Avenue in Palm City. The new warehouse will be 20,380 square feet.
