Bonfire & Hayride rolls out Nov. 7 at McCarty Ranch

The annual Bonfire & Hayride will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the McCarty Ranch Preserve. Admission and parking for this event are free. There will be live music, pony rides, horseback riding, petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, kayaking, fishing tournament, hayrides, fun and entertainment for the whole family.

Live music will be performed by the Warren Silvers Band and Penny Creek Band. The bonfire will be lit around 4 p.m. and the flag retirement ceremony by the United Veterans Group will take place at 6:45 p.m.

Folks ages 5 and up can throw a line in the lake for the fishing tournament from 3 to 5 p.m. Participants will need to bring their own fishing pole and tackle and use single hook lures. They should wear eye protection and use the recommended bait; bread, chicken liver or shiners. For more information about the fishing tournament, email Mike Villanti at mvillanti@cityofpsl.com.

Hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks will be available for purchase.
