Port St Lucie Police have arrested a West Palm Beach woman who allegedly stole more than $9,000 in merchandise from the Staples store in St Lucie West.
Police took Strona Dominique Virgo into custody Monday after she returned to the store last week.
Investigators say Virgo paid for the merchandise using active accounts from Clearwater and Sarasota.
Problem is, she was not authorized to make purchases.
Staples security investigative services uncovered the scheme.
Virgo faces grand theft and fraud charges.
