A Melbourne couple came forward Wednesday as one of the winners of
January’s historic powerball drawing.
David Kaltschmidt, 55 and Maureen Smith, age 70, claimed one-third of
the 1.5 billion dollar jackpot. They chose to receive the winnings in a
one-time lump sum payment in the amount of $327,835,077.
