More information this morning in the case of Peyton McCaughey, the 10-year-old Palm City boy who the state says was poisoned by fumigation chemicals. The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services says the owner of the company who performed the treatment did not follow proper safety protocols, and was fined years ago for faulty fumigation practices while working for another company.
Peyton has continued therapy. According to his family he can now speak and control his body better but still has a long road to recovery.
