Two drunk thieves from Miami get arrested at Martin County Craft Store
We seriously can’t make this stuff up.
Martin County, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Martin County Sheriff reported that two drunk thieves from Miami got arrested at a Martin County Craft Store
This is what they said:
BOLD CRAFTERS REAP WHAT THEY “SEW” STEALING CART LOADS OF MERCHANDISE, NOW THEY CAN FINISH THEIR PROJECTS BEHIND BARS #WrongExit
33-year old Leroy Antonio Minnis, and 45-year old Inocencio Tirado, both of Miami, must have had glue on their hands from their last craft fair, because when they rummaged through Martin County retail craft stores, stolen merchandise stuck to them like a super bond commercial.
But the crafting duo didn’t just target pom poms and glitter, they pursued big crafting dreams walking into stores and walking out with carts full of Dream Machine paper cutters, big box sewing machines, colorful ink markers, golf balls, shoes and….well some Vodka. Because such creativity must require a cocktail or two.
One of the suspects was so enthusiastic, he grabbed a store ladder and pulled the sewing machines down from the extra inventory shelf himself.
Fortunately, local retailers who have had enough of the loss and the brazen retail theft, called the sheriff’s office in enough time for our deputies to highlight the craft they have mastered, which is catching brazen retail theft suspects before they leave the county.
Leroy Minnis and Inocencio Tirado were arrested and charged with grand theft and taken to the Martin County Jail. The bond they have now is not quite the glue they were looking for, but it should keep the crafty pair together for a while. #WrongExit.
