Tropical Storm Gordon expected to be a hurricane
Tropical Storm Gordon continues to strengthen out in the Gulf. As of 5am it had maximum sustained winds of 65mph, and is expected to be a hurricane when it makes landfall with the northern gulf coast later this evening. Gordon brought a lot of rain to our area, washing out a lot of Labor Day plans in South Florida. It’s also a major concern for those concerned about the water level in Lake Okeechobee.
