Tropical Depression #nine has formed, Cone shifts East
Potential Tropical Cyclone 9 has developed into a tropical depression, according to the National Hurricane Center.
The tropical storm watches issued for Brevard County and coastal Volusia County remain in effect.

A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are possible within the watch area, generally within 48 hours. Interests elsewhere along the east coast of Florida should monitor the progress of this system.
