A large private homeowner’s association changed its holiday events this year, cancelling the annual Hanukkah menorah-lighting event.
First it was scheduled and then it was cancelled. Tradition property managers said that they didn’t want any religious events, despite still having a large Christmas tree right in the middle of town square.
The decision sparked an outcry in the community with hundreds of people calling prompting Tradition to come to a compromise with local rabbis. Tradition’s called it a miscommunication.
