Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Take Over Morningside Library Sept. 12
PORT ST. LUCIE – The comics come to life as the Morningside Branch Library presents “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (1990) as part of its Movie Matinee on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m.
Featuring Judith Hoag and Elias Koteas, the original “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie follows a group of mutated turtle superheroes as they crawl out of the shadows to protect New York City. Based on a popular comic book, the movie is rated PG with a running time of 93 minutes. Best suited for ages 5-10, moviegoers are encouraged to bring a pillow or blanket and are welcomed to bring their own snacks and drinks.
Weekly storytimes are scheduled for every Wednesday (Sept. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30) and Thursday (Sept. 3, 10, 17, 24) at 10:30 a.m., while Legos at the Library continues on the third Saturday (Sept. 19) from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and Crafts for Kids returns on the fourth Saturday (Sept. 26) at 2 p.m.
Don’t miss two new programs: Robotics for Kids and Science Saturday Storytime both on the first Saturday (Sept. 5) of each month at 10:30 a.m.
