Taste of the Tropics

The Taste of the Tropics at the Martin County Fairgrounds is a free event focused on tropical fruits and fruit trees that grow well on the Treasure Coast. The event provides valuable information on growing tropical fruit in our region, including expert advice, and fruit dehydration and canning techniques.

Attendees can sample a variety of tropical fruits and take home recipes and fact sheets. Fruit trees and herbs will be available for purchase as well. The Master Gardener’s Help Desk will be on site to answer gardening questions, and free giveaways such as seeds and cuttings will be available while supplies last. This is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in growing tropical fruit and learning more about sustainable gardening practices in the area. Free admission and parking make it super accessible for everyone.
