About Martin County Fairgrounds

The Martin County Fairgrounds are on SE Dixie Highway in Stuart, Florida. The Martin County Fairgrounds, as well as hosting the annual fair and livestock show, are also open to other businesses and events throughout the year. The Martin County Fair is one of the biggest agricultural fairs in the country, taking place each February.

The Fairgrounds are an event venue where wedding receptions, home and garden shows, and auto events are also hosted. There’s an air-conditioned banquet hall on the fairgrounds and up to 30,000 additional square feet for events.

The Martin County Fair & Youth Livestock Show is the largest single annual event held in Martin County for more than 60 years. Typically, around 70,000 people come to the fair, hosted by the Martin County Fair Association.

The fair features carnival rides, live concerts, and entertainment on the main stage throughout the grounds and at the Front Porch Stage, as well as a scholarship pageant. The scholarship pageant is limited to 20 contestants, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The Martin County Fair Association Scholarship is open to any Martin County high school student as long as they meet eligibility requirements.

The Martin County Fair has livestock exhibitors, an arts and crafts display area, and food vendors. The fair emphasizes Martin County and Florida’s agriculture contributions with educational opportunities and exhibits.

The mission of the Martin County Fair Association, which is a nonprofit, is to provide year-round opportunities to help with local development and promotion of agriculture and education, as well as family entertainment and the preservation of local heritage.
