The popular Christmas Nativity scene, set up by Castro Interiors for the public to enjoy, went up in flames tonight.
The fire and smoke could be seen for blocks.
No one was injured in the blaze, but the display is a total loss.
The Christmas Nativity display has been a traditional favorite for hundreds of people to visit each year.
This happened on a corner lot on Alhambra Avenue and Seville Street Saturday night.
The fire then spread to a manufactured home behind it while a couple was inside, unaware of the blaze.
Neighbors said they were able to wake up the couple inside and rescue them before first responders arrived.
It is unknown what sparked the blaze. The Red Cross is helping out the couple that lived in the manufactured home.
The Fire Marshal will work to determine the cause.
