Sergeant-Gary-Morales-Killed in the line of duty
The state rested their case yesterday against Eriese Tisdale, the man accused of killing St Lucie County Deputy Sgt. Gary Morales.
There was some controversy in the case over a mannequin used by the prosecutors to help show forensic evidence.
Immediately after the state rested their case the defense asked for the death penalty option to be taken off the table, arguing that the state wasn’t able to show premeditation.
