St. Lucie Secret Santas Seek Donations from Area Businesses
St Lucie County Community Services, in partnership with Community Transit, is seeking local business support for the 5th Annual Secret Santa Giveaway.
More than 40 businesses located along St. Lucie County bus routes were promoted to residents through business sponsorships last year. The week of Dec. 14-18, randomly selected transit riders will receive treasures provided by local businesses and presented by VIP Secret Santas. Participating businesses receive targeted promotion as well as media coverage and gain an introduction of their business to new customers.
Last year more than 100 transit riders received a gift package containing gift certificates/cards, coupons, event tickets, informational flyers, promotional items and more. This low-cost advertising option increases awareness of local businesses and dining options and supports transit as an alternative transportation option for area residents. The program ensures that riders know that local businesses can be easily accessed through the transit system and encourages them to support these businesses as they complete their holiday shopping.
