St. Lucie Extension Offers Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Part 1 July 18

FORT PIERCE – New to Florida? Curious about practices to help make your landscape more sustainable? Learn about the UF/IFAS Florida-Friendly Landscaping Program™ in this Part 1 of 2 presentation series on Tuesday, July 18 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the St. Lucie County Hurricane House, 8350 Picos Road in Fort Pierce.

UF/IFAS Extension St. Lucie County Urban Horticulture Agent Kate Rotindo will cover Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ principles such as Right Plant; Right Place and how to manage the challenges of pests in the landscape. Registered participants will receive a Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Guide to Plant Selection and Landscape Design booklet.
