St Lucie County teen honored as Citizen Hero
St Lucie County– On February 10, Collin Alley witnessed his neighbor, Mr Boyle, capsized in the middle of a lake near his house. According to the St Lucie Fire District, he grabbed his boogie board and life preserver from the garage an jumped into the water. He swam out and gave Mr Boyle the life preserver. Then, he assisted Mr Boyle and his sailboat to shore.
The St Lucie County Fire District will recognize Collin as a Citizen Hero at this week’s Fire Board meeting.
