Yesterday a The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that 45-year old James Charles Sedivy, a registered sexual offender, who absconded from Martin County almost a year ago, has been arrested in Cleveland.
Martin County Sheriff’s Warrants Detectives, in conjunction with the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, had been working with Cleveland Police for weeks, after obtaining information that Sedivy had ties to t…he area. Martin County Detectives suspected that Sedivy may have fled back to Cleveland.
This week, Cleveland Police notified MCSO, to report that Sedivy was arrested during an operation on a known local drug house in the Cleveland area. Sedivy was taken into custody, and will be extradited back to Martin County to face charges.
