Search continues for downed Piper with local veterinarian and his wife
Palm Beach County, Fl- The Coast Guard continued the search Saturday for a downed Piper Saratoga aircraft with two people aboard 23 miles east of Palm Beach.
The Coast Guard says it crashed Friday afternoon with two people and two dogs inside.
The plane was en route to the Bahamas from the Lantana Airport.

Doctor Ken Simmons, a local veterinarian and his wife Alice were in the plane with their two dogs when the plane came down.
The Coast Guard Cutter Paul Clark (WPC-1106) and Coast Guard Cutter James (WMSL-754) crews will continue to search during the day. Air Station Miami authorized the launch of a HC-144 to conduct aerial search and rescue efforts.
Coast Guard Seventh District watchstanders were notified Friday by the Federal Aviation Administration of the downed Piper Saratoga aircraft with two people aboard.
