Relive Local History at the Morningside Library 

PORT ST. LUCIE – The history of the Treasure Coast returns to the Morningside Branch Library for a four-part series with Indian River State College Professor Ronald Grenville Frazer.

Frazer will led this monthly lecture series that includes artifacts and maps about the Treasure Coast, as well as a question-and-answers session.  The series will focus on:

  • Flagler and the Treasure Coast Railroads on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 10:30 a.m.
  • World War II and the Treasure Coast on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 10:30 a.m.
  • 1715 Plata Treasure Fleet on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
  • Pioneer Life in Florida on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.

These lectures are free and open to the public.
