PSLPD  Investigating Shooting Death of a 15 Year Old, teen arrested

Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) -The Port St  Lucie Police  are investigating a shooting death of a 15  year old.

On December 17, 2021 at approximately 11:38pm, PSLPD responded to the area of SE Tiffany Ave/SE Hillmoor Dr in reference to a 911 call for a gunshot victim. Officers arrived on scene and located a 15 year old male with a gunshot wound. Officers began lifesaving measures, but the victim was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was traveling in a vehicle with other passengers. The victim was in the back seat of the vehicle when a firearm was discharged from within the vehicle, striking and killing the victim.

A 17 year old male who was a passenger in the vehicle has been arrested for the shooting death of the victim.
