PSLPD investigating burglary to Bayshore Pawn and Alter Arms Gun Shop
Port St Lucie, FL- On April 16, 2018 at around 10:40 pm, Port St. Lucie Police responded to an alarm at Alter Arms Gun Shop, located in the 1800 block of SW Biltmore Street. Investigation revealed that the suspect used a concrete block to smash the front door of the gun store. While inside the store the suspect steals approximately 15 boxes of ammunition before fleeing the area in a dark grey Nissan Altima.
Early the next morning on April 17, 2018 at around 3:30 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to the 1800 block of SW Bayshore Boulevard to investigate a front smashed door to Bayshore Pawn. Responding officers reviewed the Pawn Stores surveillance video and discovered that on April 16, 2018 at around 8:15 pm, a black male suspect smashed out the front window of the Pawn store then enters the business. While inside the suspect attempted to smash a glass counter with a rock but is unable to penetrate the glass. The suspect then jumps the counter and selects a guitar from behind the counter. The suspect then flees the store with the stolen guitar.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 18-25 years old, approximately 5’10”-6’2″ tall, wearing light colored pants, black shirt with a faded circle on the back, black shoes with white soles using a dark grey Nissan Altima for transportation.
