PSLPD & ATF recover ammo & drugs during probation checks
Port St. Lucie, Fla- During a Monday sweep of Port St. Lucie, police and agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested five men for various drug and weapons charges.
According to a statement by the PSLPD on January 22, 2018, Port St. Lucie Police Special Investigations Division Detectives and ATF Special Agents assisted Probation Officers in conducting probation compliance checks throughout the City of Port St. Lucie.
Nearly 30 residences were searched. This resulted in 5 arrests for new narcotics and weapons charges in addition to Violation of Probation charges.
The detectives also conducted a drug search warrant on a house in the 200 block of NW Biltmore Street. They seized approximately 250 grams of marijuana, a half ounce of cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. Detectives arrested 23 year old James Dorival. He was arrested for possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of Marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation.

During the sweep police also seized Oxycodone, multiple viles of anabolic steroids, drug paraphernalia, assorted ammunition.
Arrested on Probation Violation and other charges:
- 29 year old Thomas Alan Holland, 400 block of S Naranja Ave. He was arrested for possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of controlled substance, and violation of probation.
- 42 year old Antonio Matthew Saaverda, 1600 block of SW Abingdon Avenue. He was arrested for possession ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of controlled substance, and violation of probation.

- 57 year old John Frosch, 2200 block of SE Melaleuca Blvd NTA for possession of Marijuana under 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
