Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- The Port St. Lucie Police are asking for the public assistance to ID the vehicle that  struck a 16-year-old student.

Here are the details:

PSLPD needs your assistance in identifying a vehicle that struck a 16-year-old student with its side mirror at 6:46am this morning as she was walking to the bus stop in the 600-BLK of SW Lakehurst Dr. The vehicle did not remain on scene and fled the area. Thankfully, the victim was not seriously injured and she was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
