Port St. Lucie Community Band starts season with a bang and “A Patriotic Salute”
Music Director Dr. John K. Southall and the Port St. Lucie Concert Band are proud to announce the opening concert of their 2015-2016 season with “A Patriotic Salute,” a melodic and rousing evening of popular renditions and good old fashioned sing-alongs. The concert will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Emerald Ballroom of the Port St. Lucie Civic Center. Tickets are just $6 per person in advance and $7 at the door.
What better way to honor our country’s bravest during Veterans Day week than to be part of this wonderful evening of song and community pride, as the popular Port St. Lucie Concert Band entertains the crowd with selections that include “Banners on Parade,” “Procession of the Nobles” and “An American Spectacular.” Fans of the Band will be happy to know their favorite sing-alongs are back as well, including “Armed Forces Salute” and “God Bless America.”
Concert-goers will be filled with patriotism, smiles, and a renewed pride in this tremendous Band, comprised of local residents with a wealth of musical history and talent among them.
Tickets for “A Patriotic Salute” are now available at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center, located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road.
