Port St. Lucie police investigating shooting of two-year-old
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) –Port St. Lucie police are investigating a shooting of a two-year-old.
Assistant Chief Richard Del Toro announced that the Port St. Lucie Police are investigating a shooting that took place at the Evergreen Condominium complex at approximately 2356 hrs. on Friday, June 11th.

According to the Assistant Chief, moments after officers received the shooting call, a mother and her two-year-old arrived at the emergency room at the St. Lucie Medical Center. “The two-year-old had a gunshot wound to the head but was still breathing. The child was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center and is currently in critical condition,” said Assistant Chief Richard Del Toro.
Police are looking for Mohamed Faiyaz (DOB 5/17/00) who was present at the time of the shooting. This is an on-going investigation.
