Port St. Lucie Police Helps Save Sinking Boat
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)-The Port St. Lucie Police helped to save a sinking boat .
Yesterday, Lt. Cuba was on marine patrol at the C-24 Canal Park Boat Ramp when he saw a couple unloading their boat off the trailer and a large amount of water continuously pouring out of the bilge of the boat.
It became apparent the boat was sinking due to a missing drain plug.
Lt. Cuba immediately assisted the couple by pulling the boat out of the water and loading it on their trailer before any major damage occurred.
Thank you Lt. Cuba for your quick actions to help save the sinking boat. The drain plug was then installed and the couple was able to enjoy the rest of the day on the water!
