On Thursday, February 18, 2016 at around 2:20 am, Port St. Lucie Police went to 701 NW Airoso Boulevard to investigate an armed robbery at the Circle K convenience store.
The store clerk told police that a Hispanic male had entered the store, pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect $30.00 from the cash register. After taking the money, the suspect fled the store and ran south away from the store. Ft. Pierce Police K-9 assisted by conducting a track of the suspect’s movements after the robbery. The track led the Police K-9 to the parking lot of the Lighthouse International Church located at 650 NW Airoso Boulevard; where officers suspect the robber had his getaway car parked.
Store surveillance video depicts the suspect as a Hispanic male, standing approximately 5’6” – 5’10” tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, wearing a grey t-shirt, black jacket, white shorts, and was not wearing a mask.
Police are asking if you recognize the suspect or if you have any information on this case to call the Port St. Lucie Police Department at (772) 871-5001 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273 TIPS.
