Port St. Lucie Police arrested suspects in fatal stabbing incident that occurred in the driveway of a PSL home.
Port St Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- On December 15, 2019, Port St Lucie Police arrested twenty-six-year-old Christopher Deon Murray and Twenty-year-old Ruth Dayanara Marquez. Christopher Deon Murray (DOB 3/23/1993, 3902 Sabal Way, Fort Pierce) was charged with 2nd Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery with great bodily harm and tampering with evidence. Ruth Dayanara Marquez, (DOB 12/4/1999, 345 East Weatherbee Road, Fort Pierce) was charged with 2nd Degree murder, tampering with evidence and 1st Degree felony accessory after the fact, in connection with the stabbing that occurred during the early morning hours.
On December 15, 2019 at around 3:55 am, Police went to the 7100 Block of NW Farnsworth for reports of a stabbing of an adult male. When Officers arrived on scene the victim (Isaiha Rashaad Andrews, DOB 4/4/1997) was found on the ground in the driveway of the residence with an injury/stab-wound to his lower abdomen. St Lucie County Fire/Rescue responded to the scene. Isaiah Andrews was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives were informed there had been a gathering involving several people at the residence, which later resulted with the victim being stabbed. Further investigation revealed that Christopher Deon Murray was responsible for the victim’s injury. The murder weapon was discovered during the execution of a search warrant. Both suspects were arrested and ultimately taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking. There is no threat to the public as this incident was an isolated event within the residence.
