Photographs, Artwork Needed for Sept. 11 Remembrance Service Display
The City of Port St. Lucie and organizers of the Sept. 11 Remembrance Service held at the Civic Center, are seeking from the public any photographs or artwork that can be displayed as part of a tribute to that fateful day. Items for the display are being accepted until Monday, Sept. 7 and will be on view in the Civic Center lobby from Sept. 11 through Sept. 25.
The donated items will be available for pickup after the exhibit closes.
The public is invited to view the display and enjoy refreshments following the Sept. 11 Remembrance Service on Friday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. at the Civic Center. The ceremony will include several speakers and a Rifle Salute from the Port St. Lucie Police Department Honor Guard.
The Port St. Lucie Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 1 and Walton Road.
