A Palm City man who went missing for a short time, was located and arrested on possession of child pornography charges.
Back in June, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI executed a search warrant at the home of 52-year old David Lapidus of Palm City.
Forensic analysis of his computer revealed numerous videos depicting children, between two and three years old, engaged in sexual activity.
A federal warrant was issued, and on July 8, David Lapidus was located sleeping inside a hotel room in Jupiter.
David Lapidus was taken into federal custody.
He was charged with receipt and possession of child pornography.
