OPERATION “CUPID OVERLOAD” LANDS THREE TREASURE COAST MEN BEHIND BARS
Three Treasure Coast men hoping to score some physical affection, in exchange for cocaine, ended up behind bars this Valentine’s weekend, after learning the hard way, that sometimes Cupid wears a badge.
36-year old Miguel Maldonado of Vero Beach, 45-year old Michael Cooper, and 39-year old Eric Burns, both of Port St. Lucie, were arrested at a Martin County Hotel Friday evening, following Operation, “Cupid Overload”.
The men thought they were going to deliver cocaine and cash to a person in exchange for sex. Once the drugs, and a $50.00 co-pay was handed over, a group of Cupids popped out of nowhere, with badges, handcuffs, and a transport limo.
Maldonado, Cooper, and Burns were each charged with Delivery of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, and Solicitation of Prostitution. They were taken to the Martin County Jail on bonds of at least $80,000.00 each.
