Okeeheelee Park is located in West Palm Beach, Florida, and is one of Palm Beach County’s most popular outdoor destinations. The park offers boating, fishing, and water-skiing lakes, along with paved and natural trails for walking, biking, and horseback riding.
The north section includes the championship 27-hole Okeeheelee Golf Course with clubhouse and pro shop, large water-skiing lakes, a BMX track, nine baseball fields, four soccer fields, eight tennis courts, a disc golf course, Pooch Pines Dog Park, and a mile-long fitness trail. It also contains wide open green spaces used for recreation, events, and everyday outdoor activities.
The south section is home to the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, which features a 9-mile equestrian trail along with areas for hiking, mountain biking, and a paved multi-use path. This side of the park is especially popular for trail riding, cycling, and quiet nature walks.
Nature lovers can explore the Okeeheelee Nature Center, which includes wildlife exhibits, pine flatwoods trails, butterfly gardens, and observation areas for bird and wildlife viewing.
