Mega Millions lottery fraud in Port St. Lucie
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fl. (treasurecoast.com) – Police in Port St. Lucie are investigating a case of fraud that cost a man more than $100,000.
An elderly male reported that he received a phone call stating he won the Mega Millions Lottery. Over the course of several months he sent over a 100K to different locations in New York and Florida.
The victim became embarrassed and decided not to notify Police immediately. PSLPD Economic Detectives are following up on leads.
