Martin County is taking the Federal Railroad Administration to task over what it says is the FRA’s failure to address key issues involving All Aboard Florida High Speed Passenger train service.
The county says the FRA’s final environmental Impact statement from August failed to consider proposed alternate routes for the service as well as the negative impacts on public safety, navigation and marine industry, quality of life, cultural resources and property values, natural resources and the environment and other issues.
The county is calling on the railroad administration to toss the environmental impact study and conduct a proper and comprehensive analysis.
