A local man went to enjoy a parade in honor of Martin Luther King Jr, but ended up getting paraded into jail instead.
A sharp eyed Fort Pierce Police officer spotted Albert Copeland in the crowd.
Copeland was wanted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. When the officer tried to detain him, Copeland fled on foot and broke into a car on Avenue G. That’s when police officers caught up to Copeland, who was arrested.
