Kate! HSTC Pet of the week!

Kate! HSTC Pet of the week!

Kate came to HSTC all the way back in A P R I L when her owner could no longer care for her. Kate is 16 years old and, as is very common in mature cats, has chronic kidney disease. This is easily managed with an appropriate diet, and with a little trial and error Princess Kate has let us know which appropriate foods she is willing to eat.

Kate will do anything for a treat, likes to explore in the dark, and has a hilarious hiss-and-run tactic when meeting new cat friends. She loves to be pet and is a big fan of a good snuggle!

Kate has been waiting for her forever family to find her for about 7 months now. Understandably, this had made her a bit depressed. She has had her ups and downs and has become a staff favorite after showing us her wonderful, adorable, and in-charge personality.
If you’d like to meet Kate to see if she’s a perfect fit for you (we’re pretty sure she is — she’s perfect in every way), please come to HSTC and ask to meet her. She currently lives in our Cat Holding area where she gets a bit of extra attention and extra room to run around.

This beautiful lady needs a home to retire in, and we are all hoping that she’ll get to spend the holidays with her new family!
