Experience the stunning sunset views and witness the Jupiter Light turning on to illuminate the night sky. Visitors get an inside look at the nuts & bolts of a working lighthouse watchroom. Tour time approximately 75 minutes, Cost: $20 per person, $15 for Lighthouse Members, Tickets required – purchase online or call 561-747-8380 X101. Tours are weather permitting. Hike Through History

Join our staff on a 2 mile trek through the 120-acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area discovering a history shaped by nature. Program is open to adults and children-minimum age 5, ages 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old. Hiker’s footwear, active wear, a hat, and a full water bottle or canteen should be carried, tour is weather dependent. Hike meets at the Museum’s flag pole. Twilight Yoga at the Light

Experience the serenity of Yoga with Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck at sunset every Monday. This is an all levels class and beginners are welcomed and encouraged! $10 per person. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle and a flashlight. Meet at the Museum 10 minutes prior to start time, class is weather dependent – please check website for updates and future start times.

Vince “Trapper” Nelson came to Jupiter in the early 1930s and soon established a permanent camp on the upper Loxahatchee River. Trapper’s Zoo & Jungle Gardens became a local tourist attraction, drawing visitors to picnic, see wild animals, and meet the man likened to a modern Tarzan. For the 50th anniversary of his mysterious death, join Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum Historian Josh Liller to learn more about one of Jupiter’s legendary characters.

Description: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse was actively manned for more than a century. They came from near and far, from local pioneers to career lighthouse keepers to Coast Guard personnel who served around the world. Historian Josh Liller will share stories from the lives of Jupiter’s nearly 200 lighthouse keepers.
