A couple from Jupiter, with deep ties to our community, is mourning the loss of their son who was robbed, shot and killed while trying to rescue his girlfriend outside their apartment in Orlando.
Robert “Bert” Bosso, son of Bill and Cyndie Bosso, was killed Saturday night.
The family said the 28-year-old was returning from dinner to their Orlando apartment when a masked man put a gun to his girlfriend’s head.
They say Bert protected her, so she could escape, but he was fatally shot.
Three suspects got away and have not yet been arrested.
