It might sound fun at first, but a dip with Groll will get you what it got 23-year old David Moore of West Palm Beach. Arrested.
Moore was driving recklessly when an MCSO Deputy attempted to pull him over. At that point Moore’s decision making deteriorated as quickly as his tires when deputies deployed stop sticks, disabling the car. But for some reason, Moore couldn’t get enough—and he ran on foot, hiding neck deep in a canal.
After a brief manhunt, Deputy Wes McNeal and his K-9 partner Groll joined the search and took the dive together, swimming side by side in dark muddy water as K-9 Groll led Deputy McNeal directly to Moore.
Like a scene from Jaws with paws, David Moore had nowhere to hide. He was removed from the water and taken into custody.

But what was Moore running from you ask? Well, inside the suspect’s car deputies found two thousand dollars in cash, a stolen gun, 13-grams of fentanyl, crack cocaine, and a vitamin powder used to cut the fentanyl. So, it was likely he was running from prison time. But like they say, you can run, but you can’t hide. Moore can swim, well at least he tried. #WrongExit
