Indian River State College is holding its fifth Fall Commencement this afternoon with its largest ever number of graduates.
The Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. in the Havert Fenn Center on Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce.
2,185 students have earned their Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree so far during the current academic year. That represents a 15% increase over last year. 237 more students earned an Associate Degree for two-year degree graduates. Bachelor’s Degree graduates comprise the most rapidly growing group, with 426 graduates.
Presenting the Fall Commencement Address will be Madeline M. Pumariega, Chancellor of the Florida College System.
