Treasure Coast Lawn Equipment store burglarized; police searching for suspects.
On Saturday, August 6, 2016, Port St. Lucie Police went to Treasure Coast Lawn Equipment, located at 1802 SW Bayshore Boulevard, to investigate a burglary to the business. Once on scene police discovered that the north entry glass door was smashed. The suspects took several lawn equipment items to include weed eaters, blowers, generators, and lawn edgers.
Police reviewed the security video and learned that on August 6, 2016 at approximately 3:20 am, a white 5 door minivan pulled into the south entrance of the business. Two suspects exited the van then forced entry into the business. The suspects then made several trips carrying items from inside the store and placing them in the van. After loading up the van the suspects left the area traveling south on SW Bayshore Boulevard.
The two suspects are believed to be white or Hispanic males. Suspect 1 is observed on surveillance video as having short dark hair and a short beard wearing a dark in color long sleeved shirt, dark long pants, gloves, and shoes with a reflective patch on the heel area. Suspect 2 is observed wearing a dark in color hooded sweatshirt (with the hood up), dark pants, dark shoes, and gloves. Suspect 2 appears to have a beard or goatee. They both appear to be in their mid-20’s, unknown height/weight at this time. Suspect vehicle is a newer model white mini-van with a black roof rack (unknown make/model at this time).
