Stuart Crime Watch Board member Sally Franklin noticed something strange in a tree while she was sipping her morning coffee.
Sally saw a Hawk holding a strange object. The hawk dropped the suspicious item and flew away.
Sally picked up the item and discovered that the hawk was carrying a drone. She called police and reported the suspicious incident.
After a brief investigation, the owner of the drone was located nearby.
Hawks have been known to pick up all kinds of things including small animals.

All raptors are carnivorous and eat only meat. Different families of raptors catch and consume a variety of prey so apparently it knew the drone wouldn’t taste very good.
