A group of divers were saved yesterday in our local waterways.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office air and marine units were out looking for a missing paddleboarder when they noticed that a group of divers didn’t realize that their boat had broken anchor and had drifted almost a mile away from their position near Peck’s Lake.
Deputies informed the group that their boat had drifted away, and helped them recover the vessel.
