Fort Pierce, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- Attention drivers! Here is a Ft Pierce road closure notice!
A right-of-way permit for the replacement of the FEC overpass at A.E. Backus Avenue has been approved for Brightline, and is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, February 14, 2022.
This project performed by HSR Constructors is projected to last 180 days. During this project, an existing overpass will be rehabilitated, and a second structure will be added for the new track.
Please note:
A.E. Backus will be closed to vehicular traffic for the entire project. Pedestrian access will be provided during the construction to accommodate Natalie’s Juice Company employees.
