PREPARING FOR TRUMP TRIAL
The Fort Pierce Police Department is honored to serve and protect our residents and visitors during the Donald Trump trial, which is tentatively scheduled to begin August 14, 2023, at the Alto Lee Adams Sr. U.S. Courthouse, 101 South U.S. Highway 1 in Fort Pierce. It is expected to last several weeks.
Currently, the Police Department is working in collaboration with local, state and federal authorities on preliminary plans.
The trial will impact the Downtown Fort Pierce area and will likely result in periodic road closures, detours and sidewalk restrictions. Residents and visitors should expect traffic delays and a heavy law enforcement presence. Owners of businesses that will be affected can expect to receive more information in the coming days.
