The staff, management and residents at St. Andrews Park Villas in Port St. Lucie held a food drive for homeless veterans. During the two-week event, almost 200 pounds of non-perishable food items were collected.
“We’re proud of the way our community came together to support these veterans,” stated Stanley Markofsky, developer of St. Andrews Park. “This is a new event for our community, but one we’ll continue in the future. It’s great to see so many people who care.”

these individuals.”
In addition to the United Veterans of St. Lucie County, volunteers with Angels of Hope Outreach Ministries were on hand to transport the donated food the homeless veterans living in our area.
