FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF STUART to Hold Fifth Annual Art & Craft Show & Sale on Oct. 31
First Presbyterian Church of Stuart will hold its Fifth Annual Art & Craft Show & Sale on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9am to 2pm. The event is organized by the church’s Presbyterian Women.
The Art & Craft Show & Sale features award-winning photos and calendars, fabric dolls, porcelain art, chocolate creations, Christmas ornaments, home décor, clothing, baked goods, local writers, jewelry, needlework, painted glass, seashell items, silk flowers, body care essentials and more!
Tickets for raffle items are on sale at the church on Sundays (worship time 10am) and will be on sale at the event. Proceeds from vendor tables, bake sale, lunch, and raffles will benefit the missions of the Presbyterian Women. The church is also accepting donated items for the raffles to help raise funds for missions; interested parties should fill out a Donation Sheet (available online at www.stuartpres.org) and deliver the item(s) to the church no later than noon on Friday, Oct. 23.
New this year will be the presence of the “Big Red Bus,” more commonly known as the “bloodmobile” from OneBlood, a not-for-profit organization that provides safe, available and affordable blood to its hospital partners and their patients. We’ll be rolling up our sleeves to donate blood and hope we can count on participation from the community as well.
First Presbyterian Church of Stuart is located at 1715 NW Pine Lake Drive in the neighborhood of North River Shores; telephone number (772) 692-0500 and on the web at www.stuartpres.org. Traditional Worship Services are held on Sundays at 10am, featuring contemporary preaching and inspirational music. The church will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2016.
