Fright Fest
The Martin County Firefighters have spent 6 months building their popular haunted house, part of FrightFest held at the Martin County Fairgrounds. But at the last minute the firefighters found themselves scrambling to get the building up to code after being cited for several fire code violations.
FrightFest will continue Thursday night and run through Halloween.
As Halloween approaches, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office is wrapping up checks on the 177 registered sex offenders and predators who live in the county.
The Special Victim’s Unit works continuously to monitor local offenders and predators, in an effort to keep children safe.
